The maker of these malas was a Buddhist monk in the Thai Theravada tradition for 21 years. Now he teaches meditation at his hermitage in the vineyards of Hungary and makes malas from his friends, the local trees.
These malas are all handmade and unique, each one taking a full day to make. This area has a very strong energy and the malas made from these trees carry this energy. The malas are further blessed by chanting the Buddhist protective chants before sending.

from oak, cherry, apple, walnut, rosehip, elder and more. This is an
